Project Summary

Throwable plastic kegs as lifebuoys

Project Description

Using reinflated throwable plastic kegs (AKA PlasticBubbles) as lifebuoys http://www.PlasticBubbles.org

What are the three key lessons you learned?

Safety is not cheap.
Life is cheap.
If safety is cheaper than life, use waste to save lifes

Describe a "good failure" in your process.

There is an official video made by Laura Pargade for BlocNotes on TV7.com
( http://www.mytv7.net/video/7cff49a01d8s.html )
But people who saw it talk about joke or hoax.

It 's good to smile.

What was the biggest challenge or biggest surprise?

Biggest challenge, PlasticBubblesLifebBoys spreading.
Biggest surprise, don't know cause it's a surprise.
Biggest pleasure, listen somebody who's saying "PlasticBubblesLifeBuoys saved my life"
Biggest wish, nobody need them!

How would you describe your project to a small child?

If you have a problem look change your viewpoint and now maybe your problem could be the solution for someone else.
My waste could be a safety solution for river sides, docks, , boats ... or for swimming pools! ;)
